What You Will Learn & Do

The SEO Intern will assist the SEO Manager and team in executing daily Search Engine Optimization tasks to improve client website rankings and organic traffic.

Keyword Research:

Conduct market research to identify high-value keywords for client projects using professional tools.

On-Page Optimization:

Assist in optimizing website elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt text.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

Support the creation and execution of off-page strategies like directory submissions, business listings, and high-quality link outreach.

Content Support:

Work closely with the Content team to ensure all new content is fully optimized for SEO.

Technical SEO:

Help audit websites for technical issues (crawl errors, broken links, site speed) and monitor core web vitals.

Reporting:

Assist in tracking, compiling, and analyzing data using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to measure SEO performance.
What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles (e.g., knowledge of what On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO are). Completed or currently enrolled in a Digital Marketing/SEO course/certification is a strong advantage. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Sheets for data tracking). Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Hindi/Punjabi). A high degree of curiosity, a willingness to learn quickly, and a "get things done" attitude. Must be able to work efficiently in an office environment in Jalandhar.
