We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
SEO Intern
to join our digital marketing team. Your primary responsibility will be
researching, acquiring, and managing backlinks
to improve our website's authority and search engine rankings. This role will give you hands-on experience with SEO tools, outreach strategies, and link-building best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct backlink research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
Identify high-quality websites for guest posting, link placements, and collaborations.
Perform outreach to bloggers, publishers, and website owners to secure backlinks.
Create basic content for guest posts, link inserts, and outreach emails (optional based on role).
Assist in performing competitor backlink analysis and identifying link-building opportunities.
Track and report link-building progress, outreach responses, and acquired backlinks.
Ensure all backlinks comply with Google's quality guidelines and avoid spammy practices.
Support general SEO tasks like keyword research, on-page optimization, and content updates when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, backlinks).
Ability to research websites and evaluate link quality.
Good English writing and communication skills.
Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console) is a plus.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple outreach tasks.
Curiosity to learn and experiment with digital marketing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory)
Prior experience with outreach or link building.
Basic content writing ability.
Understanding of domain authority, spam score, anchor text optimization.
Knowledge of Google Search Essentials (Webmaster Guidelines).
