To strengthen our online presence, we are hiring an SEO Expert with hands-on experience in the travel and tourism domain and practical knowledge of improving rankings, traffic, and conversions across global travel markets.

Role Overview The SEO Expert will be responsible for executing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to boost website visibility, rankings, and organic lead generation. The candidate must have a strong understanding of the travel sector, destination-based keywords, tour package optimization, and SEO trends in the global tourism marketplace.

Key Responsibilities & KRAs

1. On-Page Optimization (KRA: Improve organic ranking of travel pages)

Optimize travel package pages, blogs, itineraries, and destination pages. Implement keyword-rich content structure, internal linking, meta tags, schema, and URL optimization. Improve readability and user experience aligned with SEO standards. Identify SEO issues and perform regular on-page audits.
2. Off-Page SEO & Link Building (KRA: Increase domain authority & backlinks)

Build high-quality backlinks through travel directories, guest posts, travel forums, and outreach. Manage listings on tourism platforms and business review sites. Monitor toxic links and maintain healthy backlink quality.
3. Keyword Research (KRA: Increase targeted traffic from travel keywords)

Conduct keyword research for travel destinations, holiday packages, seasons, and global markets. Analyse competitor strategies within Indian and international travel brands. Identify keyword gaps and opportunities for organic growth.
4. Technical SEO (KRA: Maintain technical health of the website)

Perform website audits and fix issues related to speed, indexing, crawling, and structure. Monitor Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and page experience. Maintain sitemap, robots.txt, redirections, and canonical tags.
5. Content SEO Support (KRA: Optimize content for global travel audience)

Coordinate with content teams to optimize blogs, landing pages, reels scripts, etc. Suggest topic ideas and SEO-driven content strategies (travel seasons, destinations, tips). o Ensure content follows SEO best practices and supports ranking goals.
6. Analytics & Reporting (KRA: Deliver measurable SEO performance)

Monitor Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools. Track keyword movement, traffic, conversions, bounce rates, and page performance. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management review.
Required Skills & Competencies
