Role Overview:
As a
SEO Expert and WordPress
at
Rapid Screening
, you will be responsible for optimizing our website's performance to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. In addition to your SEO expertise, you will also be responsible for WordPress management ensuring our website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and technically sound. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and development teams to implement SEO strategies while maintaining and enhancing the technical and visual aspects of the website. This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis to develop effective SEO strategies.
Optimize content, metadata, headers, internal linking, and other elements to improve site rankings.
Enhance website performance by improving load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and user experience (UX), and ensuring best practices for SEO.
Design and develop user interfaces that are visually engaging, intuitive, and optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences.
Work with the content team to develop and implement SEO-friendly content strategies.
Optimize web pages to improve SEO performance.
Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and other tools. Provide insights and actionable recommendations.
Keep up with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to continually improve the website's SEO performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist and Web Developer.
Strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress
Understanding of website performance optimization techniques, including image compression, lazy loading, and page speed.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
Experience with Google Tag Manager, schema markup, and other SEO best practices is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in implementing international SEO and handling multiple language sites.
