About the Role:

We are hiring a results-driven

SEO Executive

to join our digital marketing team in Kolkata. If you have a strong grasp of on-page and technical SEO, enjoy solving performance issues, and love working with analytics tools -- we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Execute comprehensive

on-page and technical SEO strategies

to enhance organic search visibility. Conduct

in-depth keyword research

to guide content creation and optimize existing content. Perform regular

SEO audits

to address issues related to site structure, crawlability, and UX. Monitor, analyze, and report performance using tools like

Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs

, etc. Implement SEO best practices including

meta tags, schema markup, internal linking

, and

canonicalization

. Collaborate with developers to ensure

SEO is integrated

into new code and site structures. Stay updated with the latest

search engine algorithms

, industry trends, and emerging SEO practices. Prepare and present clear, actionable performance reports to internal teams and stakeholders. Manage SEO projects independently and ensure timely execution of tasks aligned with business goals.

Requirements & Skills:

2-3 years

of proven SEO experience, preferably in an agency setup. Strong expertise in

on-page and technical SEO

. Proficient in tools such as

Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog

, etc. Basic understanding of

HTML, CSS

, and website architecture. Familiarity with CMS platforms like

WordPress or Shopify

is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently under deadlines. High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities. Excellent

written and verbal communication

skills. Working knowledge of

Microsoft Office

(Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

PMP or PRINCE II certification

is a plus.
