In this role, you will be responsible for managing all search engine optimization activities, including keyword strategy, content optimization, and link building to increase rankings across major search engines. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of both traditional SEO and modern AI-driven search behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
Keyword & Topic Research:
Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
On-Page Optimization:
Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, URL structures, and internal linking.
Off-Page SEO:
Develop and implement link-building strategies, including guest posting and high-authority outreach.
Technical SEO:
Perform regular website audits to identify and fix crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems.
AI Integration:
Stay updated on Google's AI Overviews and Search Generative Experience (SGE) to optimize for modern "Answer Engines".
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and report monthly performance metrics using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
Collaboration:
Work closely with content writers and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
1-3 years of proven experience in SEO.
Tools:
Proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, and Google Search Console.
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for on-page implementation.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to interpret data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Communication:
good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team coordination
