Familiarity with Technical SEO basics (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing, sitemaps).
2. Keyword Research
Ability to use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or SEMrush for keyword research.
Understanding of keyword intent for D2C products.
3. Content Optimization
Knowledge of optimizing blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages.
Ability to suggest keyword-rich content ideas.
4. Analytics & Reporting
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Ability to track keyword rankings and prepare weekly SEO performance reports.
5. Competitor Research
Ability to analyze competitor websites and identify backlink and keyword opportunities.
6. Tools Familiarity
Google Keyword Planner, Search Console, Analytics.
Knowledge of Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest (basic level).
7. D2C-Specific Understanding
Awareness of product-driven SEO strategies.
Optimizing product pages for conversions.
Focus on driving organic traffic that leads to sales.
8. Soft Skills
Good communication & reporting skills.
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks.
Basic understanding of e-commerce & digital marketing concepts.
9. Other Requirements
Ability to work with the content & design team for SEO alignment.
