SEO Executive / SEO Analyst

to handle

News SEO, On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Organic Traffic Growth

for our high-traffic digital news platforms. The candidate should have hands-on experience in

search engine optimization for news websites

, Google tools, and content optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Technical SEO activities Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and search trend analysis Optimize news articles, breaking news, evergreen content, and feature stories Write and optimize SEO titles, meta descriptions, URLs, headings, and image alt tags Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools Identify and fix crawl errors, indexing issues, page speed, mobile SEO issues Improve organic search traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and impressions Implement schema markup, internal linking, and content optimization strategies Work closely with content writers, editors, and social media teams Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly SEO performance reports Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, Core Web Vitals, and SEO best practices

Required Skills (Naukri Keyword Optimized)

Preferred Experience

1-5 years experience as SEO Executive / SEO Analyst / Digital Marketing Executive Experience working with news portals, media websites, or content-heavy platforms Experience handling high-traffic websites and trending news content
