Job Description

We are seeking a motivated SEO Executive with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in search engine optimization to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will support the implementation of SEO strategies to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, and enhance search engine rankings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their SEO career to gain practical experience while contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to identify high-potential search terms. Assist in on-page optimization, including optimizing meta tags, headings, content, images, and internal linking. Support off-page SEO activities, such as basic link building, outreach, and monitoring backlinks. Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools to track traffic, rankings, and key metrics. Collaborate with content writers to create or optimize SEO-friendly content, ensuring it aligns with target keywords and best practices. Perform basic technical SEO audits (e.g., checking for site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawl errors) and suggest improvements. Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments. Prepare regular reports on SEO performance and recommend optimizations. Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with overall digital goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience

: 6 months to 1 year in SEO, digital marketing, or a related role (internships or freelance work count).

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Skills

: Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs/Moz (basic usage). Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for on-page tweaks. Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress).

Core Skills

: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and metrics. Good research and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities. Passion for digital marketing and eagerness to learn.
