The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving organic visibility, optimizing website content, and driving search performance for multiple brands across industries. You'll work closely with the content, design, and performance teams to build strategies that enhance rankings, traffic, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive
keyword research
and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and implement
on-page and off-page SEO strategies
to improve organic rankings and website authority.
Optimize website content, metadata, headings, images, and internal linking structures.
Perform regular
SEO audits
to ensure technical health -- including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
Collaborate with content and design teams to create
SEO-friendly landing pages and blogs.
Manage
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools
to track and report performance.
Build and maintain quality backlinks through
ethical link-building practices.
Monitor keyword positions, traffic trends, and domain authority -- providing actionable insights and monthly reports.
Stay updated with
Google algorithm changes
and evolving SEO best practices.
Collaborate with developers to implement technical fixes and structured data markup (schema).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field.
1-3 years of experience
in SEO or digital marketing (agency experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of
on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Hands-on experience with tools like
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog,
etc.
Understanding of
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms
(especially WordPress).
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
Experience with
Local SEO & Google My Business optimization.
Basic understanding of
content strategy and keyword mapping.
Familiarity with
eCommerce SEO and schema markup.
Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing (Google, HubSpot, etc.).
