The SEO Specialist is responsible for improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, and enhancing search engine rankings through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies. The role involves keyword research, content optimization, website audits, analytics tracking, and continuous monitoring of SEO performance.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. SEO Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic.
Conduct detailed keyword research and identify growth opportunities.
Plan and execute on-page optimization activities including meta tags, headings, content optimization, and internal linking.
B. Technical SEO
Perform website audits to identify technical issues such as crawl errors, page speed, site structure, indexing, and mobile optimization.
Work with developers to resolve technical SEO issues.
C. Off-Page SEO
Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies.
Manage submissions, guest posting, directory listings, and outreach campaigns.
D. Content SEO
Optimize existing content and collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly content.
Develop SEO content strategies to improve visibility and user engagement.
E. Monitoring & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and competitor performance.
Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports for management.
F. Competitor & Market Research
Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
Stay updated with latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
3. Qualifications & SkillsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
1-3 years of experience in SEO (freshers with strong knowledge can also be considered).
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress/CMS platforms.
Understanding of content marketing and keyword strategy.
