We are seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to enhance our website's visibility and drive organic traffic. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO. This role is pivotal in improving our search engine rankings and contributing to our overall digital marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify valuable search terms and trends. Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure to enhance visibility on search engines.
Technical SEO: Perform technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance, such as slow loading times, crawl errors, and mobile optimization.
Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
Content Collaboration: Work closely with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with user intent and drives organic traffic.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor website performance, track key metrics, and generate reports.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience with e-commerce platforms and local SEO.
