Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-intent opportunities across both commercial and informational search funnels. Optimize all content assets for on-page SEO, including meta tags, heading structures, internal linking, schema markup, and core web vitals. Perform regular technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, and site speed. Implement and refine strategies for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Google Search Generative Experience (GEO) readiness on key pages. Work closely with writers and medical reviewers to produce credible, medically accurate, and SEO-optimized content. Develop topical clusters and create keyword-to-content maps for targeted visibility. Incorporate E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) elements in all content, including medical reviewer details, credible citations, transparent authorship, and relevant schema. Update and refresh existing content to maintain ranking performance and ensure compliance with Google's quality guidelines. Identify and pursue white-hat backlink opportunities through guest posting, citations, and collaborations with credible educational and healthcare sites. Use SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Hunter.io, and SEMrush to manage outreach campaigns and track link acquisition. Leverage unlinked brand mentions, broken link building strategies, and high-quality manual outreach to earn authoritative backlinks. Ensure all link-building follows ethical SEO practices--no use of PBNs, paid links, or black-hat tactics.

Required Qualifications:

2-3 years of proven experience in SEO and content strategy roles Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GA4 Strong understanding of E-E-A-T, AEO, and schema markup Comfortable working cross-functionally with content, marketing, and tech teams
