Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Content Manager to lead our content initiatives across a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content writing, editing, proofreading, and quality control, coupled with a deep understanding of SEO best practices. This role requires managing a team of content creators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized and website - optimised content that aligns with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning:

o Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies tailored to each client's goals and target audience.
o Create and manage editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery of content across various platforms.

Content Creation & Management:

o Oversee the creation, editing, and proofreading of content to maintain high quality and consistency.
o Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines and tone of voice.
o Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather information and insights for content development.

SEO Optimization:

o Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and search engine rankings.
o Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into content.

Quality Control:

o Establish and enforce content quality standards and guidelines.
o Review and approve content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and engagement.
o Provide constructive feedback to content creators to foster continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

o Lead and mentor a team of content writers and editors, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
o Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team performance.

Client Collaboration:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding content-related matters.
o Present content strategies and performance reports to clients.
o Incorporate client feedback into content development processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in content writing, editing, and management, preferably within an agency environment. Proven experience in SEO writing and implementing SEO strategies. Strong proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal). Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
