The SEO Analyst is responsible for improving a company's search engine rankings to increase organic traffic and visibility. This role involves a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and data analysis. The SEO Analyst will conduct comprehensive keyword research, perform competitor analysis, monitor website performance, and implement strategies to drive traffic and improve the user experience. They must be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate with content creators, developers, and other marketing team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO Strategy & Execution:
Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords and long-tail opportunities for content creation and optimization.
On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and body text, to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates.
Off-Page Optimization: Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites. This may include guest posting, broken link building, and influencer outreach.
Technical SEO: Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and fix issues related to site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, indexing, and structured data.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals and targets key user queries.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting:
Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other third-party SEO platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rate, and conversion rates.
Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Reporting: Create and present detailed reports on SEO performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to inform and adjust SEO strategies, ensuring all efforts are aligned with business objectives.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers to implement technical SEO changes, content writers to optimize new and existing content, and the marketing team to integrate SEO with other digital marketing channels.
Communication: Clearly communicate SEO best practices, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical team members.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and SEO best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or Certification In Seo and Digital Marketing.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
Hands-on experience with leading SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
Soft Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications from Google (e.g., Google Analytics Certification).
