Shell Salesforce CC uses a variety of Salesforce instances consisting of different Salesforce solutions. The SFDC developer is responsible for design and implementation of Sales, Service Cloud or Force.com custom solutions taking into account the right balance between declarative vs programmatic development as well as the Salesforce coding limits and best practices.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

What's the role

  • Lead a team of Salesforce developers to deliver projects on the Salesforce platform for a particular Line of Business
  • Own the overall technical design and delivery of products on the Salesforce platform
  • Design and implement solutions on salesforce platform
  • Understand the requirement of a functional specification or user stories, ensure its completeness for next steps
  • Ensure process adherence for every piece of code/configuration item
  • Ensure the products delivered meets the quality goals as defined in the project charter
  • Manage multiple projects and ensure development teams are staffed appropriately
  • Accountable to hire train and retain Salesforce skilled resources
  • Strategize hyper-care and own resolution of transition to support and resolve issues that arises during this time
  • Implement and institutionalize delivery standards for all product development and delivery
What we need from you
  • 9-12 years development experience of which at least 5 years Salesforce.com development experience in configuration, customization & integration space.
  • Knowledge of Einstein Analytics & integrations with prior experience.
  • Experience in various Einstein offerings of Salesforce.
  • Excellent Salesforce.com declarative configuration skills.
  • Data migration between SFDC environments using relevant tools and mechanisms.
  • Experience with version control solutions & CI/CD processes/tools.
  • Experience with managing stakeholders and understanding, analyzing requirements.
  • Practical experience with SF integrations.
  • Salesforce Admin, PD1 certified.
  • Experience with Agile development (product backlog, user stories etc).
  • Ability to participate in lead design sessions, review options and provide recommendations while communicating the benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and IT stakeholders.
  • Creative, out of the box thinker, who uses his technical experience to manage development teams that create real business benefit.
  • Must be a well-motivated team player.
  • Organized and methodical, eye for detail.
  • Experienced virtual team worker in a multi-geographies environment.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER

What's the role
  • Design and implement solutions on salesforce platform.
  • Understand the requirement of a functional specification or user stories, ensure its completeness for next steps.
  • Document technical solution design.
  • Run a quality assessment of a counterparts' code
  • Resolve defects during test cycles and hypercare.
  • Adhere to the release and Change process.
What we need from you
  • 3-8 years development experience of which at least 2-4+ years Salesforce.com development experience (triggers, apex classes, lightning, LWC).
  • Excellent knowledge of sales cloud, service cloud and Einstein Analytics.
  • Excellent Salesforce.com declarative configuration skills.
  • Data migration between SFDC environments using defined CI/CD.
  • Certification on either Salesforce PD1, Salesforce EA, Salesforce Developer 401, or Salesforce Advanced Developer 501 level 1.
  • Experience with SSO, FAAS and ERP integration (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile development (product backlog, user stories etc).
  • Excellent knowledge of Web Development (Ajax, JavaScript, SOAP, HTTP, CSS Bootstrap).
  • Experience with version control solutions (e.g. Github, Sourcetree).
  • Ability to participate in design sessions, review options and provide recommendations while communicating the benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and IT stakeholders.
  • Creative, out of the box thinker, who uses his technical experience to develop apps that create real business benefit.
  • Must be a well-motivated team player.
