Job Purpose

Defines and leads engineering solutions within a SSE project taskforce, and acts as a technical and technological referent, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures and processes, schedules and man hours, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

/ Skills needed
In-depth knowledge in detailed mechanical design of rigid pipelines with tools developed using Mathcad/MS Excel and engineering analysis for pipeline using software such as ABAQUS and OrcaFlex. Diverse rigid pipeline/ riser project experience, handled engineering solutions to projects in different WD and pipe sizes. Coordinates, prioritizes, adjusts, and directs the efforts of the discipline engineering work performed for the project and/or manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites. Ensures that the discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with contract requirements (including budget), project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC and discipline engineering processes and standards. Approves design basis and coordinates design activities within discipline (including sub-contractors activities). Nice to have experience in performing global FEA analysis for rigid pipeline such as global buckling, walking analysis, VAS. Hands on experience in different bukcle mitigation solutions for varying WD. Riser engineeering- knowledge on SLWR, SCR. Must have performed strength, interference, fatigue checks for risers that are connected to FPSO or similiar floating units. Leads project engineering, new product/technology development, product improvement and product standardization, and product qualification projects depending upon the assigned group. Serves as a technical point of contact for assigned project or product scope, and serves as a focal point for all communications related to scope. Develops product design, geometry standards documentation and product qualification requirements. Creates, reviews and approves part reports, drawings, engineering specifications and standards. Mentors and provides technical guidance to Product Engineers and Designers/Drafters. Works collaboratively to accomplish project tasks. Provides independent review and approval of work packages. Works to the requirements of industry code related to subsea production systems, TechnipFMC standards and client specifications. This is an individual contributor position. The role is responsible for executing activities assigned by the manager, and execute it with the assigned team. You are meant for this job if:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience in the field

Strong technical skills in engineering

Strong project management skills

Good presentation and coaching skills

Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills

Understanding customer requirements and ability to translate them into product specifications

Excellent command of English
