Project descriptionOur Client is one of the largest UK groceries and general merchandise retailer and is in the middle of transformation to technology Company in retail. As part of this exercise renovation of the technology landscape taking place across the Company. As a partner, we support our client in this journey and help to develop from scratch new applications for various departments (Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Finance, HR etc.). Our teams are responsible for development of platform components in Agile environment together with client, based on event-based Microservices architecture. As a developer, you will work in a team of professionals in your Country and collaborate with experts from all over the world to develop modern high-loaded applications in a Cloud environment.Responsibilities

• Custom AI model development including selection of appropriate pretrained models if any, hyperparameter optimization and fine-tuning)
• Evaluation of models using relevant metrics
• Continuous improvement of models based on feedback loops

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience
• Should have demonstrated ownership in the entire AI/ML project lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance of AI applications.
• Should be a hands-on Python developer, writing efficient clean code, with experience in concurrent programming as well as designing scalable systems
• Should have extensive hands-on experience in: o a) custom AI model development (including selection of appropriate pretrained models if any, hyperparameter optimization and fine-tuning) o b) evaluation of models using the relevant metrics - should be able to justify choice of metrics over others depending on the use cases o c) ML Ops for deploying, maintaining & monitoring o d) continuous improvement of models based on feedback loops - Should be able to work as a team player with other developers, designers and product managers - Should be well versed with recent AI research & trends, and adept at discovering and leveraging state-of-the-art open-source models/libraries for various use cases
• Understanding of Data structures, Data modelling and Software architecture
• Strong ML fundamentals and understanding of the latest model architectures. Strong understanding of operations that constitute a model (e.g. gather, convolution, attention etc)
• Experience in Data engineering
• Experience implementing machine learning workflows in the cloud

• 10+ years of overall IT experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to architect software and ML systems at scale. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience and knowledge with various ML and Deep learning algo and techniques like Linear regression , Support vectors, KNN, CNN,RNN etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of Python scientific computing libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, catboost, FastText, xgboost, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communications skills in English (both written and oral); \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in working with product, design, and backend engineering. \xe2\x80\xa2 Intelligent, communicative team-player personality, interested in and willing to learn new skills and technologies.
