Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned

Senior Wireless Network Engineer

with deep expertise in

Juniper Mist

and senior-level experience in

Fortinet firewalls

. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of enterprise wireless networking experience, appropriate certifications, and proven

supervisory experience

overseeing other wireless engineers.The role involves leading a wireless infrastructure migration project across campus to a global enterprise environment from Cisco to Juniper. He or She will be managing day-to-day operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring network performance meets business and technical expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architecture, deployment, and optimization of Juniper Mist wireless systems Use Mist AI and Marvis to drive proactive performance enhancements Supervise and coordinate a team of wireless engineers to meet project milestones and performance KPIs Oversee Fortinet firewall configurations and wireless edge security integration Conduct advanced wireless site surveys and RF planning for multi-site deployments Document topologies, wireless heatmaps, policies, and troubleshooting procedures Collaborate with network security, systems, and cloud teams to ensure secure wireless access

Required Qualifications

Experience:*
7-10 years in enterprise wireless network engineering 5+ years with Juniper Mist wireless environments 1-3 years managing Fortinet Firewall deployments Proven

supervisory

or

team lead

experience in wireless infrastructure projects Certifications:*

Mandatory:

Juniper Mist Certified Specialist or equivalent

Preferred:

CWNP, CCNP Wireless, JNCIP-ENT or similar vendor certifications Bonus: Fortinet NSE Level 4+ Skills:*
Mastery of 802.11 standards, RF design, and wireless security protocols Hands-on experience with Mist dashboard, Marvis, and AI-driven optimization FortiOS policy creation, threat response, and integration with Wi-Fi access Python and API use for automation and analytics Secure guest access, NAC, and identity-based wireless segmentation Strong documentation and operational playbook development
