Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Operations
Lead and mentor a team of Wintel administrators, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and high-priority incidents.
Coordinate with network, storage, security, and application teams to support seamless end-to-end IT operations.
Infrastructure Management
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022) with a focus on stability, performance, and security.
Oversee Cisco UCS infrastructure, including server provisioning, firmware upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Administer core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file/print services, and related components.
Implement and improve patch management, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures.
Cloud & Automation
Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure workloads across AWS and OCI, ensuring secure and efficient hybrid cloud integrations.
Drive automation initiatives using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent technologies.
Establish, document, and enforce infrastructure standards, operational policies, and best practices.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as OP Manager, SolarWinds, or SCOM.
Produce regular reports and insights for management on system performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and advanced PowerShell scripting.
Deep understanding of Cisco UCS architecture, management, and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) and OCI compute, storage, and networking.
Experience with Hyper-V and enterprise virtualization environments.
Familiarity with Automation/Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
Good understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise operating models.
Expertise with monitoring and ing tools such as OP Manager, SolarWinds, SCOM, or comparable platforms.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to prioritize workloads, manage escalations, and drive results under pressure.
Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
