Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to lead the development and optimization of our web platforms. This role requires deep expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, with a strong understanding of .NET frameworks, modern JavaScript, and digital marketing tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions that support our business goals.
This individual will be a member of the web development team and will work closely with other developers and designers on the team to create new pages, develop site components, and help in the maintenance of the live websites. This is technical marketing position and is part of the marketing department, reporting to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Integrate and manage third-party tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Cludo, Wistia, Pardot, SharePoint, and BrightEdge.
• Optimize website performance, SEO, and accessibility across multiple platforms and devices.
• Implement and maintain tracking, analytics, and conversion tools to support marketing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Be part of the web team - creating, designing, migrating, and producing new pages and updates to existing websites.
• Write code that optimizes web search results utilizing best practices in HTML structures and tags and optimizes social media and sharing strategies.
• Complete web support tickets (updates, bugs, issues, etc.) relating to the external facing website - from understanding the update/issue being requested through to completion, testing, and publishing.
• Make updates to the sandbox and test sites for additional troubleshooting and testing, then schedule for publishing.
• Learn and use the website control panel (internal content management system).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, communications, or business preferred.
• 7+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development.
• Expert level HTML5, CSS3 (including Bootstrap framework and CSS), JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Expert knowledge and experience in programming applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET languages (VB.net, C#.net), and in using Microsoft Team Foundation Server and GitLab.
• Expert relational database technologies knowledge and experience using of Microsoft SQL.
• Experience developing responsive website optimizing user experience for both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding and commitment creating HTML optimized for organic search results, SEO, and social/sharing platforms.
• Robust analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience in marketing technology or working closely with marketing teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Marketing Automation and CMS systems including Pardot, a plus.
• eCommerce knowledge and experience, a plus.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent English for both written and verbal communication.
• Excellent grammar, editing, proofing and copywriting skills.
• Ability to create and write website content where needed from requirements and other materials.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
