Job Description

The Web Designer Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and page layouts. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Provides direction/ideas, art layout and art production support for all marketing activities. Creation of brand trademarks, logos and style templates for packaging, merchandizing, collateral, presentation and corporate identity materials for the commercialization, distribution sales and marketing of products.

• Building, Designing, Developing, and Customizing websites.

• Build converting and compelling SEO and PPC Landing Pages

• CMS: WordPress, Wix, Webflow

• Design Logos, Buttons, Graphics and other web elements for websites.

• Interpret clients' needs and work on a variety of products ranging from mock-ups, PUC designs, websites and applications, social media creatives, print ads and banners, to corporate identity and branding requirements.

• Maintain multiple websites operating on WordPress platform, other CMS, and custom based.

• Ensures HTML/CSS is cross-browser and standards compliant and meets accessibility/disability requirements.

• Integrates websites with existing applications on campus or third-party/open-source platforms.

• Increasing traffic to websites, improving rankings on search engines, tracking web visitor activities, and running online marketing campaigns through PPC and SEO for clients.

• Stay up to date with trends and technological advancements in web development. Learn and test new technologies, frameworks and languages as relevant.

• 3+ years of experience in developing responsive websites and online applications

• BE / BTech in Computer Science / Information technology or MCA or any other graduation with adequate experience
• Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, Adaptive and responsive sites, general web functions and standards.
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP and APIs.
• Website designing and development (HTML 5 and PHP). Integrating apps on social media platforms like Facebook.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React.js, Vue.js and jQuery.
• Experience developing themes from PSD or any other graphics.
• Ability to create and ideate graphics projects into concept presentations. Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
• Invision / Invision Studio, FIGMA, HTML, SKETCH, Creative Suite CS5, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, HTML5, CSS, Zeplin, Principal, Blasmiq, Corel Draw, Illustrator, Canva, Adobe XD.
• Registering web domain names and organizing the hosting of the website.
• Worked on search engine optimization. Good understanding of SEO & apps like Google Tag Manager and Google optimise for A/B testing.
• Debugging code and re-designing web pages.
• Testing the website to ensure it is working. Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.
• Knowledge and experience working with OWASP ASVS or equivalent application security standards.
• Experience in using test tools such as Selenium Web Driver, SoapUI, Burp Suite
