The Senior Warehouse Executive for Leica Biosystems is responsible for Managing the Warehouse day-to-day operations in India, the person will be primary contact for sales, service and customer service teams in reference to the customer shipments delivery process. This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics located in Chennai and will be onsite. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Operations India team and report to the Senior Manager - Customer Service and Logistics responsible for Order to Cash including after Sales Ops support, process improvement, compliance, revenue fulfillment, inventory management and logistics & warehousing management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Manage the Warehouse\'s day-to-day operations in India. Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders for both internal and external shipments Primary contact for sales, service and customer service teams in reference to the shipments, POD, customer shipments delivery process Manage Import/export operations coordination with international freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, transporting companies & other external agencies. Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping including International Trade compliance requirements. Manage Labelling process and follow proper SW to meet compliance. Support standardization of transportation processes across the region Work with 3rd party freight payment plan provider for invoice accuracy and cost savings opportunities Lead and support the 3PL / service provider to achieve the Warehouse KPI targets for Inbound, Outbound, Inventory accuracy, on-time delivery performance and quality Manage the inventory process in the warehouse, cycle counting setups, physical inventory, stock scrapping and other inventory-related processes Be the focal point of managing internal customer complaint cases related to shipments and manage overall warehouse and logistics case management Facilitate/Support on-site audit when requested by Business, Internal and external Audit Monitor IT cases raised for local supplies to customers and resolved quickly Train & Coach warehouse and logistics operations teams on any process changes. Manage the changes to ensure successful deployment of changes with operations Recommend improvements to processes through DBS tools and methodology The essential requirements of the job include Min 5 years experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing Experience in managing 3PL warehouse operations including ERP system, Medical Device/Pharmaceutical products handling knowledge Proficient with excel and other analytical tools Undergraduate Degree/bachelor\'s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Customer focused person and ability to multitask Effective problem solving and presentation skills Effective communicator and working in a global team environment It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: MS Navision Lean trained When you join us, you\'ll also be joining Danaher\'s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
