Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

Responsibilities:

WebMD is searching for a Sr. Video Editor who is able to edit in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a combination of video editing and organizational skills. The Sr. Video Editor will work closely with the in-house production team to turn around a finished product via Adobe Premiere Pro and other Creative Cloud software.

The Sr. Video Editor will own and manage all required tasks assigned for each project. The turnaround times for video projects are very quick and the Sr. Video Editor may be asked to work on multiple programs each day.

The candidate must be able to juggle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines and possess the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually. Sharp attention to detail is a must. The Sr. Video Editor will be required to interact with Editorial, Program Managers, Online Publishing, and other internal teams as needed. Candidate must have the ability to consistently format edits to match established designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher or equivalent experience with video editing
• 3+ years of video and photo editing experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of encoding software Adobe Media Encoder
• Technical literacy with video and audio file formats
• Strong time management skills
• Clear communication skills
• Willingness to work independently and be receptive to direction
• Ability to learn project management software Adobe Workfront

• Both Mac and PC proficiency
• Manage a project with little direction
• GFX and Color Correction abilities are a plus
