Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who can take ownership of e-learning video projects from brief to final export.

Your core responsibility will be to convert scripts and English voiceovers into clear, engaging learning videos using text, graphics, screen visuals and simple animations, maintaining a strong, consistent visual standard across all modules.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, content creation and has a strong sense of timing, clarity and design rather than flashy, high-VFX edits.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the editing of video-based e-learning modules using scripts, voiceovers and storyboards Translate audio into well structured visual narratives using layers, text, icons, shapes and screen recordings Set and maintain visual styles, templates and guidelines for different clients and courses Add and refine transitions, lower thirds, highlights, callouts and basic text/graphic animations for better learner engagement Review and quality-check edits Work closely with the Creative Director, content team and voiceover artists to refine flow and clarity Manage timelines and ensure projects are delivered as per schedule Suggest creative ways to simplify complex concepts through visuals and on-screen text

All our modules are in English, so strong understanding of spoken and written English is essential.

You Are A Strong Fit If You

Can independently handle an edit from raw assets to final export Are comfortable building the entire visual design around a given audio track and script Understand pacing for educational content and know how to keep viewers engaged without distractions Have an eye for clean layouts, typography and on-screen hierarchy Can mentor junior editors and help improve their output over time Are organised, responsible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Skills and Requirements

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro Good understanding of layers, text, graphics and basic animation Experience in editing explainer videos / e-learning / corporate training content Good sense of visual storytelling, composition and typography Ability to follow detailed directions from the Creative Director and also suggest improvements Comfortable understanding English scripts, briefs and feedback.
Big plus (preferred for senior role):

Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics tools Ability to design and animate simple elements like callouts, infographics, transitions and text reveals
