Role Description Video Editor (Contract)

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves editing raw interview and knowledge-based video content for the pet care industry, creating engaging short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, social media content).

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into engaging short-form content for social media. Work with known brands' content or equivalent high-quality projects. Apply motion graphics, colour grading, sound mixing, and smooth transitions to suit the final output. Understand content context and narrative to cut raw files effectively. Use AI editing tools where applicable (advantage). Collaborate with the content team, take feedback constructively, and make timely revisions.
Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Strong skills in colour grading, motion graphics, and basic sound design. Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken). Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and remotely. Experience in creating content for brands in lifestyle, pet care, or related industries is a plus. Familiarity with AI-based editing tools is an advantage.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
