Responsibilities
Design and implement
multiplayer systems
(networking, replication, communication).
Work with
network frameworks
(e.g., Photon Fusion / PUN / Netcode).
Build and maintain
client-server workflows
, session management, and scene flows.
Integrate backend API endpoints (GraphQL / REST) into the Unity client.
Optimize performance for PC, Mobile, and Web builds.
Lead code architecture, conduct reviews, and enforce coding standards.
Collaborate with DevOps for build deployments, CI/CD, and headless server builds.
Mentor junior and mid-level Unity developers
Required Skills
Expert proficiency in
Unity (C#)
Tools
Git, CI/CD, Version control tools
Networking SDKs (Photon, Netcode, Mirror, etc.)
Experience
4 to 6+ years as a professional Unity developer
At least one shipped multiplayer experience preferred
Strong experience with
multiplayer networking
(state sync, RPCs, lag compensation)
Experience with
addressables
and runtime content loading
Deep understanding of
game architecture patterns
Strong debugging and performance profiling skills
Familiarity with
URP
and rendering optimization
Experience with
dedicated server / headless builds
Knowledge of shader basics, materials, and lighting
Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
