Role Overview

HummingWave is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior

UI Developer

to lead front-end architecture, development, and delivery of modern web applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in Angular, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving UI strategy, mentoring developers, ensuring best coding practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Development and optimization of enterprise-grade web applications using

Angular

. Define and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architecture and reusable UI components. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration. Drive best practices for UI performance optimization, accessibility, security, and responsiveness. Establish coding standards, documentation practices, and front-end development guidelines. Troubleshoot complex UI issues and deliver efficient solutions. Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and architectural decision-making. Stay up to date with emerging UI technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in

Front-end Development

with strong expertise in

Angular (2+ / latest versions)

. Proficiency in

TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3

, and modern UI development standards. Strong experience in building

scalable, modular, and component-based architectures

. Hands-on knowledge of

RxJS, Angular Material

, and state management solutions. Experience integrating

RESTful APIs

and managing client-side data workflows. Strong understanding of

browser rendering behavior, performance optimization, and responsive design

. Familiarity with

Git, CI/CD pipelines

, and Agile/Scrum development practices. Experience implementing

unit testing (Jasmine/Karma), UI automation, and ensuring code robustness

. Ability to debug and resolve complex front-end issues across browsers and devices.

Good to Have

Experience with

Micro Frontends

,

Progressive Web Apps (PWA)

, or

Server-Side Rendering (SSR)

. Familiarity with

UX best practices

and design systems. Exposure to other front-end frameworks such as

React or Vue

. Experience working in

Product-based, FinTech, fast-paced startups or enterprise-scale environments
