Position Summary:

Reports directly to the Lead and interfaces with counterparts in other locations outside of India, project offices, and BBS Finance management as required. Should be responsible to independently fulfill the Vendor Admin activities globally.

Responsible for performing Vendor Admin/Treasury related activities, which include:

  • Creation of supplier/Employee & Banking setup
  • Phone Banking Verification of vendors
  • Vendor Merger
  • Audit of RVSS
  • New Vendor creation under Procurement
  • Resolution of SAP to AP Interface Error
  • Vendor database cleanup
  • RPL Screening
  • Coordination with AP and Procurement
  • Improving processes that improves AP vendor payment turnaround.
  • Coordination with OCI Helpdesk/IS&T Team for issue relating to supplier setup/PO mapping.
  • Knowledge of BO report and other tools is preferable.
  • Prepare various letters to bank for Open/Close bank accounts/Signatory/Company Address update to inform bank and update Quantum system (Treasury software)
  • Review and reconcile Quantum bank flows and cash flow transaction in the system.
  • Create New deal set for FX Trade / Payroll transactions.
Actively communicates with other departments and follows up on corrective actions. Coordinates with Lead / Supervisor / Procurement to ensure that information required supporting both internal and external customer information are obtained and updated/provided in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in accounting or a related field and at 5-7 years of accounting experience.
  • Should possess knowledge of General Ledger/ Account Payable and Vendor Admin.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Basic skills in the areas of oral and written communications, MS Office suite of applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable & General Ledger accounting operation using a major ERP (Oracle/SAP/other) system is highly desirable.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, conscientious, and function well in a team environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude and maintain composure under stress.
  • The ideal candidate must be \'self-starter\' capable of working independently, taking initiative identifying and resolving issues, managing workload, and handling correspondence.
  • The ideal candidate must possess good organization skills, ability to provide constant attention to detail, and have ability to apply quality control over a heavy volume work with tight deadlines.
  • Candidate is expected to maintain confidentiality of all information entrusted to the position.
  • Prior experience in Finance operation using a major ERP (Oracle/SAP/other) system is highly desirable.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to offices/project locations inside and outside India.
