Role Overview
As a Senior Holiday Consultant, you will be responsible for planning, selling, and managing customized travel packages for clients while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to the travel and tourism industry and opportunities to grow in travel management and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable domestic and international holiday packages
Plan, customize, and sell travel packages based on customer preferences and budgets
Provide detailed information on destinations, including pricing, weather, currency, language, and local customs
Prepare and share itineraries, brochures, guides, and other travel-related documents
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
Negotiate package modifications and accommodate customization requests wherever possible
Resolve customer queries and issues before, during, and after travel
Maintain and regularly update customer and travel databases, ensuring data confidentiality
Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets
Stay updated on domestic and international travel trends, policies, and tourism regulations
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
Prior experience in holiday package sales is mandatory
Strong knowledge of travel booking systems, procedures, and documentation
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Sales-driven mindset with customer-first approach
Multilingual abilities will be an added advantage
Good understanding of tourism rules, regulations, and best practices
