The Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing day-to-day travel inquiries, engaging with potential customers, understanding their travel needs, customizing travel packages, and converting leads into confirmed bookings. The role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily travel inquiries and leads generated through website, phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and social media platforms
Connect with leads promptly and understand customer requirements, budget, travel dates, and preferences
Customize domestic and international tour packages according to traveler needs
Prepare and share detailed itineraries, quotations, inclusions, and exclusions with clients
Follow up regularly with prospects to close sales and improve conversion rates
Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, airlines (as applicable), and other suppliers to secure competitive pricing
Update and maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including lead status and booking details
Upsell and cross-sell add-ons such as sightseeing tours, activities, meals, travel insurance, and special experiences
Provide end-to-end customer support before travel, during the trip, and post-travel
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
Skills & Requirements
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, tour packages, and travel logistics
Ability to customize travel packages efficiently and accurately
Sales-driven mindset with a customer-first approach
Proficiency in CRM systems, email communication, and WhatsApp handling
Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously and work under pressure
Prior experience in travel sales or tour operations is preferred
