Senior Transportation / Highway Engineering - Job Profile

Qualification:

B.E / Post-Graduation in Transportation/Highways / Civil Engineering from reputed institute

Experience:

5 to 8 years in planning and designing of urban Road transportation

Key Competencies

- Technical Skills

• Planning, designing of Urban roads, intersection, grade separators, pavement design, parking and other road components for arterial, collector and plot level roads for large townships / industrial estates
• Thorough with IRC & MoRTH standards, relevant codal specifications and technical knowhow for flexible and rigid pavement design
• Familiar with road drainage, culverts and bridge designs aspects, utility corridors
• Understanding on interface of multi-disciplinary activities associated with urban integrated infrastructure project
• Working experience on SMART CITY AND INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR PROJECTS shall be added advantage
• Assessment of Risks & mitigation plans, understanding of quality systems and associated aspects Health, Safety and Environment

- Software skills

• Civil3D, MX , Open-roads or any other equivalent software

- Managerial skills

• Manage project deliverables and associated tasks for smooth project delivery within the time lines
• Coordinate with internal project staff and external consultants, clients, in reviewing and obtaining the engineering deliverables
• Provide the necessary technical guidance to junior engineers and modellers to deliver the outputs within the planned efforts and timelines

Responsibilities

• Delivering the project outputs to desired quality standards and agreed timelines
• Design and development of construction drawings for transportation systems
• Technical reviews/ communications / problem solving for the team
• Assist procurement / contracting team in providing BoQ with optimised design in timely manner
• Assist the Business development team in preparation of case studies, brochures, flyers and marketing material
• Work on multi-disciplinary projects as a team member or a project lead
