Position Summary
The
Training Leader of Empower Next Academy
is responsible for driving the design, execution, and continuous improvement of training programs that enable employee success at every stage of their journey. This role combines strategic oversight with operational execution, serving as the
execution and operations arm
of the U.S. Training Manager. The Training Leader will oversee employee orientation, onboarding, and career development pathways while ensuring programs are hands-on, impactful, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in corporate training within technology companies, expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS), and the ability to create dynamic learning experiences that accelerate employee readiness and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Leadership
Lead the design and delivery of orientation and onboarding programs that set new employees up for success from day one.
Develop career development frameworks and structured pathways to support long-term employee growth and retention.
Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to employees ranging from recent graduates to senior industry hires.
Ensure programs are aligned with company priorities, business outcomes, and best practices in adult learning.
Program Execution & Operations
Translate U.S. Training Manager strategy into effective execution across Empower Next Academy.
Oversee day-to-day training operations including scheduling, delivery, logistics, and faculty management.
Track and evaluate program impact using metrics, learner feedback, and performance assessments.
Drive continuous improvement in training content, delivery methods, and learner engagement.
Technology & Learning Systems
Administer and optimize the company's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content accessibility, reporting accuracy, and ease of use.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams to integrate learning technologies into employee workflows.
Stay updated on emerging digital learning tools and incorporate innovations into the Academy.
Organizational Integration & Partnerships
Partner with department managers and HR teams to align training with workforce needs.
Ensure trained employees are fully prepared to integrate into their roles quickly and effectively.
Build strong connections with external institutions and industry partners to strengthen program relevance and innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, HR, Organizational Development, or related field.
7+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or talent management within a technology company.
Hands-on experience with
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
and corporate learning tools.
Proven track record in leading orientation, onboarding, and career development programs.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Experience supporting cross-functional and international training programs preferred.
