We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee the testing strategy, planning, and execution for our healthcare software solutions. The role involves ensuring product quality, compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivery of robust, secure, and high-performing applications. The Test Lead will work closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, and regulatory teams to establish effective test processes and lead the QA team.
Primary Responsibility:
Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, regulatory needs, and functional specifications.
Define and enforce QA standards, processes, and best practices tailored for healthcare software (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR compliance as applicable).
Develop and maintain test strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
Manage and mentor QA team members, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Drive automation initiatives for regression and integration testing.
Coordinate defect management process, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of issues.
Provide regular test metrics and status reports to project management and leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases within timelines.
Essential Functions:
Define overall QA approach aligned with healthcare domain standards.
Manage a team of test engineers, ensuring productivity and skill development.
Validate data privacy, interoperability, and compliance with healthcare standards.
Implement automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, API testing, etc.) to improve efficiency.
Ensure applications meet required performance benchmarks and security protocols.
Oversee defect triage, prioritization, and closure in collaboration with development teams.
Identify risks in the testing process and provide mitigation strategies.

Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in healthcare domain software testing (EHR/EMR, LIMS, HIS, Claims, or other medical applications).
Strong knowledge of healthcare standards like HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD, DICOM.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
