Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare test plans, test strategies, test cases and test scripts ensuring high coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
• Discuss and review requirements and software design
• Perform impact analysis of changes and refactor affected test artifacts
• Perform hands-on formal and informal testing, report defects found and track them to closure
• Ensure regulatory compliance by following all processes and documenting testing artefacts as required
• Contribute to sprint planning, task identification and estimation
• Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product owners / product managers) to deliver high quality software products
• Present own work / learnings at internal forums like monthly team meetings

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent STEM degree
• At least 4 years of experience in testing complex, rich and highly interactive web applications
• Hands-on experience of working with test management tools (TestRail preferred) and other popular tools used in the SDLC process (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Some knowledge of test automation, API testing and different types of non-functional testing (load, performance, usability, security, etc.)
• Experience of working in Agile Scrum teams and completing testing from sprint to sprint
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset

Optional Skills and Experience:

• Experience of coding / scripting in any programming language (C# preferred)
• Knowledge of a variety of architectures like client server, layered architecture, microservices, etc.
• Certified by ISTQB, CAST, CSTE (or similar)
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and Ranorex
• Knowledge of tools like Postman, LoadRunner and JMeter
