Overview:

General Insurance - Senior Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into

detailed test plans and test cases

. Execute

functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

across insurance platforms. Lead

test automation efforts

using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks. Collaborate with

developers, business analysts, and product owners

to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs. Log, track, and manage defects using tools like

JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail

. Participate in

requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and defect triages

. Provide

mentorship

to junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing. Ensure compliance with

insurance regulations and data privacy standards

. Contribute to

CI/CD pipelines

and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Engineering

, or a related field.

5+ years

of experience in software testing, with at least 7

+ years in the insurance domain

. Strong understanding of

insurance workflows

(Policy Issuance, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements). Experience with

DXC Assure InsuranceSuite

(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) is a plus. Proficiency in

test automation tools

and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#). Familiarity with

API testing

using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
