Job Summary: The Test Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications or systems. collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, managers, and quality assurance personnel, to identify and resolve software defects and ensure that products meet defined quality standards. Engineer applies a variety of testing techniques, tools, and methodologies to validate software functionality, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and design documents. Identify, analyze, and document software defects and issues, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing to ensure the software meets quality standards and user requirements. Perform automated and manual testing, as appropriate, using testing tools and frameworks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document test strategies, test objectives, and test deliverables. Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and test infrastructure. Monitor, track, and report on test results, defects, and testing activities, ensuring clear communication of testing progress and issues to stakeholders. Continuously improve test processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance. Provide support and assistance to other team members in testing activities, as needed. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices. Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications or systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
