Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer - Automotive BG Experience: 5 to 8 years Location: Chennai Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python and Robot Framework to join our dynamic team in the Automotive industry. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive products through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design efficient and effective test automation solutions. Contribute to test planning and strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Work closely with the QA team to identify test scenarios that can be automated for maximum efficiency. Conduct integration testing to ensure the seamless operation of software components within the automotive system. Develop and execute performance tests to evaluate the scalability and responsiveness of automotive software. Identify, isolate, and report defects with clear and concise documentation. Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the resolution of issues. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation. Propose and implement improvements to the test automation framework and processes. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer. Solid experience in test automation using Python and Robot Framework. Previous work experience in the Automotive industry is highly desirable. Proficient in Python programming language. Strong expertise in Robot Framework for test automation. Experience with automated testing of automotive software and systems. Proactive in identifying potential challenges and proposing solutions. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
