Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Test Analyst


:


At least 5 years' experience as a Senior QA Analyst performing manual testing e.g. functional, smoke, regression, end to end, integrations etc.*
Display strong QA fundamentals and knowledge on test lifecycle (Planning, Analysis, Execution & Defect logging)*
Able to document & implement new tools & techniques for QA process improvements focused on reusability & standardization.*
Write test plans, test strategy etc. and create necessary documentation for project work.*
Good understanding of different test design techniques and apply them consistently.*
Collaborate and communicate effectively with QA Analyst, QA Manager, Client SMEs, Business analysts, Developers and other Delivery team members*
Conduct walkthroughs, defect triage and manage client facing activities from QA's side*
Carry out testing activities timely & seamlessly, across SDLC leading to no project disruptions or escalations*
Good understanding of defect lifecycle and Agile methodology is mandatory*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills*
Able to work in an environment with shifting priorities and multiple competing demands*
Help the QA Manager with metrics and reporting*
Proactively flag risks in a timely manner and help resolve the issues to avoid project disruptions*
Have Excellent written and verbal communications skills.*
Self-motivated, self-starter, go-getter, Proactive attitude*
Exhibits a team player attitude and should also excel as an individual contributor*
Must train/coach junior testers and carry out peer reviews on project artifacts*
Worked on at least 1 test management tool such as Jira, Test Rail, Qtest, HP ALM, Azure DevOps etc*
Responsible towards contributing to performance appraisal process by providing inputs to QA Manager/PM on team's performance*
Contribute to the external QA hiring process*
