Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible as a functional resource of team for executing the functional, regression. The candidate must have good hands-on experience on functional, Regression, end to end testing. The candidate should be well versed in working effectively in fast paced environments. Candidate is expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and responsible for Daily/weekly/Monthly reporting and ensuring quality deliverables.

• Understanding testing principles and practices
• Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases
• Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Banking domain knowledge : COREBANKING ( preferred)
• Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
• Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
• Hands on experience on JIRA
• Perform other testing-related duties as required

Contributing Responsibilities

• Work in close co-ordination with Business Analyst, Development team to Analyze test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
• Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Develop a good understanding of Cash Management/Payments Domain
• Take Ownership of the task and communicate the daily/weekly/monthly status effectively and Ensure all the deliverables are in line with Testing Governance
• Proactive in identifying Risks, planning respective mitigation actions and ensuring till closure
• Ensure effective test coverage to avoid any issues in UAT, pre-prod environments
• Responsible for Root cause analysis of UAT. Production incidents and action planning
• Responsible for handling Automation topics in the application on demand

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Well versed with Software Life cycle , Development and Testing Knowledge

Familiarity with defect Management tools JIRA/ALM etc.

Familiarity with Test Planning, Defect Root cause Analysis

Familiarity with Testing Process documents and Governance topics

Familiarity with projects in Agile mode

Good Database skills and experience in writing SQL queries

Knowledge in End to End Interface testing

Familiarity with Core Banking domain, Term desposits, Loans etc (Mandatory)

Test Automation : Selenium, Java or Python ( Mandatory)
