About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use): 09

S&P TF is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a global team of Cloud Engineers to support our data management platform used for acquiring, validating and distributing trade, operational, risk, financial and customer data.
Responsibilities and Impact:

• Deep knowledge of AWS technologies such as EC2, ELB, S3, VPC, EBS, RDS, AMIs, IAM, FSX, Active Directory, DNS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS etc.
• 5-8 years of experience in a highly complex technical AWS operations environment with expertise on supporting Windows 2016/2019 server environments
• Networking administration experience, Good understanding of VPN, Peering, Routing, NACL, ALB/NLB, Security Groups, Access Control
• Good to have experience with configuration and deployment management in a scripting language like Ansible. In this context knowledge of AWS Cloud formation/Azure Devops/Terraform helpful to run multi-server application stacks.
• MS SQL Server - Standard and Enterprise deployment setup and Understanding of HA setups
• Person should be open to work in rotational shift including weekends and holidays

What We\'re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably engineering graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills are needed to describe hosted offerings, and solutions across a wide range of requirements, and convey different levels from management to clients.
• Proven track record of supporting cloud hosted windows-based applications.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of practical experience in AWS Cloud Administration preferably AWS certified Solutions Architect or Equivalent
• Strong Analytical skills, Presentation skills, and ability to work under pressure
