Senior Technician - Space grade wire harnesses

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wire Harness Technician to join our team,

specializing in the assembly and integration of complex wire harnesses for critical space grade applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in high reliability wiring and a deep understanding of aerospace and defense standards. This role

requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring all harnesses

meet stringent specifications for flight-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, crimp, solder, and terminate wire harnesses and cable assemblies for
space applications, strictly following engineering drawings, schematics, and work

instructions.

Perform intricate wire preparation, including stripping, tinning, and bundling
according to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Utilize specialized tools and equipment for crimping, soldering, and testing, including
but not limited to crimpers, heat guns, and continuity testers.

Conduct in-process inspections to ensure all workmanship meets quality and
reliability standards.

Troubleshoot and repair non-conforming assemblies, documenting all rework
performed.

Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues
and improve manufacturing processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Certification: Must hold a valid PAX-300 (or equivalent J-STD) certification. Experience: 6-10 years of demonstrable experience in manufacturing wire harnesses,
with a strong emphasis on space-grade or high-reliability applications.

Technical Proficiency:
o Expertise in working with MIL-SPEC and aerospace connectors.

o Demonstrated proficiency with military-grade connectors, including but not

limited to Circular (e.g., MIL-DTL-38999), D-Subminiature, Micro-D, and Nano D connectors, Molex connectors

o Solid understanding of soldering techniques for high-reliability applications.

o Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and

blueprints.

o Deep knowledge of tools - ability to correctly identify tools for different

crimps based on datasheet or experience

Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a high level of
precision.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
collaborative team.

Role type: 2 year contract, with extension possible after completion of contract
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
