General Mills India Center (GIC) operates out of Mumbai and supports the global operations of General Mills. The center was established in 2005 and has grown in strength. Job Overview
Role: Senior Tech Specialist
Location: Mumbai, Hybrid eligible
The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic software testing professional with 5-7 years of experience in Functional/data/automation testing Candidate with experience on working in offshoring model is preferred.
Role Responsibilities

- Understanding the non-functional requirements from business.
- Identify and bugs and report it with correct severity
- Ensure
85% of bug acceptance
- Familiarity of working in Agile teams
- Provide the test execution report to stakeholders.
- Define the correct test scope for the test activity

of Time Operational Responsibilities
- Manage stakeholders from different country & time zones
- Flexibility to work at late hours

Must - have technical skills and experience
i? Experience in BI Testing
i? Experience in Data Testing
i? Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts
i? Create SIT test cases/test data and perform Test execution
i? Validates data by running queries in the database and verify that the results match the expectations
i? Analyzes and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root cause of defects, logs the defects in HP Quality Center/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects
i? Works closely with software development team (Business Analysts, Developers & other testers) to ensure timely and effective testing effort
i? Writing queries to extract data for test case data comparison
i? Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests suites
