Job Summary
The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead complex technical projects within GE Precision Healthcare, driving the successful delivery of innovative healthcare solutions from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of strong technical acumen, exceptional project management skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare technology landscape.
Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple, concurrent technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management strategies, communication plans, and change management processes.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary and implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, including engineers, developers, product managers, and other technical specialists, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges clearly and concisely to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to GE Precision Healthcare's project management methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HIPAA).
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools, incorporating best practices and lessons learned.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and methodologies to optimize project delivery and product performance.
• Act as a technical liaison between various teams, translating complex technical requirements into actionable plans and ensuring seamless integration of components.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, preferably within the healthcare technology domain.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software or hardware-based projects from conception to deployment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project) and collaboration tools.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry (e.g., FDA regulations, HIPAA) is a significant advantage.
• Solid technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts, architecture, and design tradeoffs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
