We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong technology background to join our Engineering team at Resy, American Express Global Dining Network. You will be responsible for Scrum Master and Technical Management responsibilities. This position is being filled to support high priority initiatives and hence provides opportunity for great experience and exposure to leadership. It requires an Agile savvy, impactful communicator who is confident with exceptional technical management skills and has a go getter attitude. This position will report to the Head of Project Management.Responsibilities include but not limited to:xc2xb7 Technical Scrum Master for multiple teams to deliver solutions in support of key product and engineering initiatives.

• Provide cross-functional coordination with Engineering and Product Management and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.

xc2xb7 Work closely with software engineers, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the SDLC (build, test and release on time).xc2xb7 Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.xc2xb7 Data driven / logical in implementing. Excited by going deeper vs broader. Not shying away from contributes technical discussions.

• Maintaining release and dependency plans across Engineering teams and external partners

xc2xb7 Actively identifying, managing and raising risks, issues, and changes tied to product development initiatives.xc2xb7 Conducting Planning sessions and Scrum ceremonies, with a focus on continuously learning from the pastxc2xb7 Finding opportunities to embrace innovative technologies and processesxc2xb7 7+ years of IT experience with 2+ years of agile experience scrum master managing scrum team for medium to large software development projectsxc2xb7 Comes from a technical delivery background with a good understanding of software engineering and technologies.xc2xb7 Organized, diligent, proactive and passionate about deliveryxc2xb7 Excellent in Agile, Scrum development teams delivering fast paced environment.xc2xb7 Experience understanding technology solutions at an enterprise-levelxc2xb7 Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with third parties, development and product managersxc2xb7 Experience in clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity, advocating for simplification, influencing teams and being able to build your own path to navigate to solutionsMust Have Qualifications:xc2xb7 Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification.xc2xb7 Agile experience as a Scrum Master managing multiple Scrum Teams for software development projects.xc2xb7 Experience working cross functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and other functions involved in Project Delivery.xc2xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with leadership, technical and non-technical groups.xc2xb7 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.Nice to Have Qualificationsxc2xb7 Expertise in JIRA.xc2xb7 PMP (Project Management Professional) Certificationxc2xb7 Knowledge of Restaurant Industry is plus.xc2xb7 Passionate about building technical solutionsWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
