Role: Senior Technical Product Owner for Helix Core Integrations

Location: Pune India

Position Summary:

Perforce Software is looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to join our growing and exciting global product management team. This Technical Product Owner works closely with software engineering teams and plays a key role in defining the product strategy, priorities and delivering industry leading version control and collaboration solutions.

As a key member of the product management team, the product owner will help define the technical specifications as well as contribute new ideas for market expansion. The successful candidate will be an engaged, interactive technical subject matter expert in the integrations, plugins, and API space who champions customer experiences and technology leadership. The successful candidate will work in an exciting and engaging environment where they will be encouraged to expand their skills, test their creative boundaries, share new ideas, and of course - have fun.

Responsibilities:

• Become a hands-on, go-to subject matter expert on the portfolio of Helix Core integrations.
• Understand Helix Core product releases and the corresponding impact on existing integrations.
• Diagnose customer pain and translate it into actionable technical requirements.
• Diligently track 3rd party product releases and end-of-life schedules to inform internal priorities.
• Formulate and measure product analytics to ensure on-going product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with developers on technical architecture.
• Understand open-source software and be responsive to customer-driven contributions.
• Engage cross functional teams globally to define and prioritize product initiatives.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data sources to make recommendations for adding new integrations as well as sunsetting existing ones.
• Work closely with product managers and product marketing to align on outbound messaging that will guide the development of marketing collateral, white papers, presentations, and demo materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software product management, technical product owner or product development in an agile process.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Demonstrated hands on experience and success in guiding successful product lifecycle processes.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn.
• A combination of experience in:

• Version Control: Perforce Helix Core, Git (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket), SVN, Mercurial
• Artist Tools: Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender
• IDEs: Visual Studio, Eclipse
• Build Tools: Jenkins
• Programming Languages: .NET, Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, PHP
• Real-time 3D Engines: Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot
• Experience with continuous integration, DevOps automation tools, automated testing - advantage.
