WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise technology or airline organizations
  • Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery
  • Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production
  • Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project
  • Strong written, oral communication, and social skills
  • Must have excellent planning and organizational skills, strong verbal, written communication and facilitation skills.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in present position

  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for conducting sophisticated and detailed research of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/intent of the assigned products
  • Work with business Product Owner and SMEs to prioritize feature development, based on the business value
  • Work with technical teams to initiate and drive technical roadmap deliverables to completion.
  • Elicit and create initial epics/features and elaborating into user scenarios that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements
  • Deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc
  • Drive team excellence with proactive contributions towards continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional teams inside a Scrum framework
  • Conduct work sessions and document new features, requirements, and strategies.
  • Perform testing, track bugs, enhancements and ensure issues are resolved before promoting to production environments.
  • Successfully handle multiple initiatives and balance constantly evolving priorities.
  • Query and analyze data to estimate future and measure current solution impact.
  • Develop business logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decision support models and tools.
  • Construct problem statement including problem description and improvement measures.
  • Always anticipate the next question -Drill down beyond the problem surface to understand root cause, business impact, and next steps.
  • Supply guidance to project planning and effort estimation within scope.
  • Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches.
  • Develop and maintain internal customer relationships

  • Subject matter expert for your applications and take ownership for its development and performance.
  • Solid Understanding of Agile/SDLC development methodologies
  • Airline business experience, as well as business process re-engineering and/or extensive experience working with agile teams, is desirable
