Senior Data Engineer (Niche)



Responsibilities and SkillExtensive working experience as an

Oracle PL SQL developer

with proven ability in the area of Client/Server and Distributed Multi-tier Application Development , Data modeling , Design, Development, Data processing , Deployment and Support with Oracle technology on different platforms. Experience in working with database systems including

SQL, PL SQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift and SQL Server.

Proficient in

SQL,

PL

/SQL

for stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages. Experience in utilizing

PostgreSQL

as a relational database management system for storing, managing, and querying large volumes of data efficiently. Experience in utilizing

data modeling

tools such as Oracle SQL Developer

.

Experience in migration to AWS cloud. Experience architecting, building, and administering big data and real-time streaming analytics architectures in on-premises and cloud environments. Experience in moving data from Oracle to

Redshift

using

Airflow

. Experience in integrating database functionality into

Java applications,

including data retrieval, manipulations and storage. Experience in importing the data from Oracle to s3 and used Airflow to move the same to Redshift. Experience in

Linux

Shell Scripting. Experience in

AWS DMS, RDS, S3, VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch,

SQS, SNS

. Developed and maintained complex SQL queries and scripts to

extract, transform, and load (ETL)

data for various projects. Implemented

Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)

strategies to enhance database performance and query efficiency. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to analyze database requirements and provide scalable solutions for business needs. Experience working in Big Data projects and performing Big Data Development. Experience in using

HDFS commands and SQOOP tools
