Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Technical Lead / Architect

with 9-12 years of hands-on experience in GIS technologies, especially ArcGIS and VertiGIS Studio Web. The ideal candidate must have full-stack expertise--React-based frontend and .NET/C# backend development--along with strong exposure to Geo-Spatial data, TypeScript, SQL, and software design patterns.

The role requires a solid understanding of Utility Networks, excellent architectural knowledge, and strong communication skills for effective client engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality GIS solutions tailored to client requirements.

Must-Have Skills

9-12 years of progressive software development and architecture experience, including 4+ years in GIS-focused roles Hands-on expertise in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks Strong backend experience using .NET / C#, Microservices, and REST Expertise in Esri ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server) Knowledge/experience with VertiGIS Studio (Web, Workflow, Reporting, Printing) Strong understanding of Esri Utility Network, data models, configuration, and deployment Proficiency in REST APIs, web services, and data interchange formats (GeoJSON, GML, XML, JSON) Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, microservices, and system design Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven client engagement experience Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing distributed teams Strong SQL and geo-spatial data management knowledge with performance optimization skills

Educational Qualification & Skillset

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geomatics, or related field Experience in VertiGIS Studio Web and Utility Network for utility infrastructure management Extensive experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, and Feature Services Proficiency in .NET and TypeScript for solution development Experience hosting and deploying solutions on ArcGIS platforms Hands-on experience with ArcGIS layers, design patterns, and performance tuning Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript Knowledge of NoSQL databases for scalable solutions Experience with Docker for containerization Good hands-on experience with AWS or Azure Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for GIS application delivery
