Sr. Technical Engineer

Location:

Pune, Chikhali.

Requisites:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service roles; experience in the generator or MHE (Material Handling Equipment) industry is a plus. Expertise in controller programming, software development, panel making, and electrical project execution. Strong understanding of electrical systems, scope of work planning, project drawings, and installation. Knowledge of retrofitting, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance practices. Proficient in handling project meetings, technical documentation, and R&D-based innovation. Familiarity with safety standards, process understanding, and technical support in sales. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide online and offline technical support to customers. Execute controller programming and software loading. Support business development through site study and project scope finalization. Provide technical input and support to the sales team regarding electrical components. Design and create project-related drawings and documentation. Oversee panel making, project inspection, installation, and commissioning. Conduct project meetings and lead technical discussions. Attend retrofitting cases and troubleshoot on-site issues. Engage in R&D and software development for innovative solutions. Ensure project completion within agreed timelines and report to the Head of Department. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve breakdowns efficiently.
